New Website is a One-Stop Clearinghouse for Local, State, and Federal COVID-19 Response Information is a new Grant County community website that provides a one-stop clearinghouse for trusted local, state and federal information and resources to help keep you, your family and our community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic and to help you find resources to get you through the economic fallout.

The website provides a compilation of information and resources on COVID-19 health and response information — from how to protect yourself and your family from exposure to the coronavirus to financial assistance programs available to you, your business or nonprofit.

Resources are categorized by health and wellness, individuals and families, community, businesses, and nonprofits and compiled from the state of New Mexico, the federal government and from local governments and social service providers.

The website also provides links to local, state and federal resources related to reopening, such as state COVID-Safe Practices for individuals and businesses, the Silver City/Grant County Reopening Plan, and downloadable NM Department of Health signage in English and Spanish related to wearing face masks in public spaces.

Additionally, the new website features a “Mutual Aid” project under the website tab “Get Help/Give Help.” People can make a request for help, and volunteers can offer time and expertise. Volunteers will be matched with people needing assistance with everything from grocery store shopping, errands, a ride to the doctor to wellness checks.  Just fill out the appropriate form on the website at

You can also request a face mask if you need one by filling out the form on the website. Thanks to an anonymous donor for making this effort possible.
