Workshop – Saturday, October 6th, noon – 4:00pm at The Lotus Center
Active Hope is not something we have, it is something we do! It is a choice we can make to be present to our world, to all of it – to its grief and beauty and to ourselves and others. This workshop is based on the work of Joanna Macy, social and environmental activist and Buddhist teacher.
Shirley Pevarnik, a student of Joanna, will lead us through exercises that will help us connect with each other and our creativity in these challenging times. GRIP Executive Director Allyson Siwik will join Shirley to facilitate our journey into meaningful actions.
